Scheduling and clearing deletion dates for standalone machines

Why should you care about the deletion schedule?

If you're using a standalone machine to revisit a lab from a past course, or as a trainer getting ready for a class, you can rest easy — there's nothing to be concerned about here.

However, to make more efficient use of system resources, any standalone machine left idle for more than a month will be automatically set for deletion, and you'll receive a reminder seven days in advance.

You'll also have the option to cancel that scheduled deletion.
 

How you can schedule deleting a standalone machine yourself.

1. When you're setting up a standalone desktop, you can choose a deletion date.

1. You can go to the Options menu and set a deletion date for the standalone machine.

How you can clear the scheduled deletion date

1. Open the Options menu and click "Scheduled to delete on" 

2. Hover over the blue toggle icon and click to immediately remove the deletion date.
