DaDesktop Pricing Plans

Pricing Models for DaDesktop

You have four distinct options for paying for your DaDesktop service:

  1. Public Cloud (starting at 3 EUR per day)
  2. Private Server (starting at 10 EUR per day)
  3. Reseller or Volume Purchases (starting at just 0.1 EUR per day)
  4. On-Premise Deployment

Public Cloud Option

In the Public Cloud model, you are charged daily. The base rate is 3 EUR per day for a standard Linux desktop configuration, which includes 8GB of RAM, an 8-core CPU, and 50GB of SSD storage.

Need more power? Each additional tier—adding 8GB of RAM, 8 extra CPU cores, or another 50GB of storage—will cost you an extra 3 EUR per day.

Please note that Windows-based machines incur an additional fee of 1 EUR per day. However, if you already hold a valid license for your own Windows installation, this extra charge does not apply to you.

Important Note: Daily billing is calculated within a 24-hour window starting from midnight, based on the local server time.

Private Server Option

If you prefer predictable, fixed costs regardless of the number of desktops running or the specific resources allocated to each one, purchasing a dedicated entire server is your best option. With this setup, your only limitation is the physical capacity of the server itself, rather than per-unit costs.

Reseller and Volume Discounts

We offer substantial discounts of up to 80% for resellers and high-volume buyers. This pricing tier is typically designed for organizations that plan to:

  1. Integrate DaDesktop directly into their own products
  2. Resell the service under their brand
  3. Purchase in large quantities

On-Premise Deployment

The standard rate for deploying DaDesktop on your own infrastructure is 6 EUR per core.

Public Cloud Pricing Examples

Scenario 1

A user operates an Ubuntu desktop equipped with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for 8 hours within a single day.

Total Cost: 3 EUR

Scenario 2

A user operates an Ubuntu desktop equipped with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for a few hours each day over the course of 5 days.

Total Cost: 5 days × 3 EUR = 15 EUR

Scenario 3

  1. A user operates an Ubuntu desktop equipped with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for 1 hour.
  2. The desktop is deleted.
  3. Later the same day, another desktop with the exact same configuration is created and used for 1 hour.

Total Cost: 3 EUR

Scenario 4

  1. A user operates an Ubuntu standalone desktop equipped with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for 1 hour.
  2. The desktop is deleted.
  3. Later the same day, a second desktop with a higher spec (16GB RAM, 16 CPUs, and 100GB storage) is created and used for 1 hour.

This scenario involves two machines with different configurations:

Machine 1 = 3 EUR

Machine 2 = 6 EUR

Total Cost: 3 + 6 = 9 EUR

Scenario 5

  1. A user operates an Ubuntu course desktop equipped with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for 1 hour.
  2. The desktop is deleted.
  3. Later the same day, another desktop with a higher spec (16GB RAM, 16 CPUs, and 100GB storage) is created by the same participant or trainer and used for 1 hour.

Total Cost: 6 EUR

Course Billing Details

For both Public Cloud and Reseller options, courses are billed to the Organization Owner based on the users who created desktops during the course duration.
