Creating a Fresh Start from a Standalone Desktop

1. Navigate to your created course (the example below shows a Demo course). Select the Desktops tab, then click the down arrow and choose "Create from Standalone" to initiate your Fresh Start.

   

2. Pick the "Standalone desktop" that you've already set up with the course environment—software, course materials, quizzes, and so on.

3. During this step, you can adjust the memory, CPU, and disk size as needed.  Click "Create desktop".

   

4.  Your Fresh Start is now ready. At this point, both the Trainer and Participants can clone desktops from this base. 
   
   The Fresh Start serves as a master desktop within the course, enabling you to clone it to all participants and the trainer simultaneously. Anyone in the course can also restore from this Fresh Start whenever necessary.
   
   Through the 'Cog' menu, you'll find a range of other capabilities: you can clone your Fresh Start to the Trainer, Participants, or a Standalone machine, and even clone and resize the machine as a Standalone. Additional options include moving the Fresh Start to another server, making Snapshots, reviewing Recordings, or Setting up of a Remote Replica.
