Server Management

Within your On-Premise or OEM DaDesktop cloud, you can add and remove servers as necessary.

 

 

Sync all sys info

It scans each server's CPU, memory, and other specifications, then refreshes the database with that data. DaDesktop relies on this information to recommend servers to users, giving priority to those with more resources.

After upgrading hardware, you can sync all servers or just a single one.

Keep in mind that if you have more than 1,000 servers, this process may take a few minutes.

Change State (Suspend, Reinstate)

Suspend a server when it becomes unreachable. This prevents the DaDesktop GUI from checking the status of the server and its Desktops.

You can use this option if a server is unavailable due to a malfunction.

Retiring Server

If you wish to stop using a particular server, you can set it to retirement mode. This blocks new desktops from being created on the server, while existing desktops can still be used or moved to other servers.
